Welcome to Mysa. By accessing our services, website, or entering into a management agreement with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they set out the basis of our relationship with independent hosts, investors, and guests.
1. Scope of Services
Mysa provides property management, revenue optimisation, guest experience coordination, and community-positive hosting practices on behalf of property owners and investors.
Our services may include, but are not limited to: property onboarding, listing creation, guest communication, responsible screening, cleaning, maintenance coordination, revenue management, and community engagement initiatives.
Specific deliverables and pricing are defined in individual management agreements.
2. Property Owner Responsibilities
To ensure successful collaboration, property owners agree to:
Provide accurate information regarding the property, including legal ownership and compliance with local laws.
Maintain appropriate insurance coverage (e.g., homeowner’s, landlord, or rental insurance) to protect against risks beyond Mysa’s scope.
Notify Mysa of any material changes impacting the property or its operations.
3. Revenue & Payments
Revenue Management: Mysa implements custom, data-driven pricing strategies designed to maximise occupancy and yield.
Owner Payouts: Net earnings (after service fees, operating costs, and agreed management commission) are disbursed on a monthly basis with transparent reporting.
Financial Transparency: Owners will receive clear statements detailing income, costs, and fees.
4. Guest Relations & Screening
Mysa will manage guest bookings, communication, and screening in alignment with our responsible hosting standards.
While Mysa makes every effort to screen and select respectful guests, ultimate liability for guest actions remains with the property owner, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Mysa reserves the right to decline bookings that conflict with our community-positive policies.
5. Property Standards & Maintenance
Mysa coordinates cleaning, inspections, and maintenance to uphold guest experience and asset value.
Owners authorise Mysa to engage trusted third-party contractors for urgent repairs to protect the property and guest satisfaction.
Non-urgent works will be communicated and approved in advance unless pre-authorised by the owner.
6. Community Commitment
Mysa operates with neighbour-friendly policies to reduce disruptions and complaints.
A portion of our profits are reinvested in local community initiatives.
Owners agree to support these practices as part of their engagement with Mysa.
7. Compliance with Laws
Both Mysa and property owners must comply with all applicable local, state, and national regulations, including zoning, licensing, and tax obligations.
Owners remain responsible for ensuring their property is legally eligible for short-term rental or management services.
8. Liability & Indemnification
Mysa acts as an agent and service provider, not as a guarantor of property performance or guest behaviour.
Owners indemnify and hold Mysa harmless against claims, damages, or losses arising from property ownership, except where caused by Mysa’s proven negligence or willful misconduct.
Mysa is not responsible for losses due to events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, regulatory changes, or platform outages).
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the management agreement with prior written notice in accordance with contract terms.
Upon termination, Mysa will finalise outstanding bookings, close financial accounts, and provide necessary handover materials.
10. Amendments
Mysa reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in services, regulations, or market practices. Updated terms will be communicated to owners in writing.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
